Two Digit Counter
Category: AT89C51
Designer: RANA MUHAMMAD ADNAN KHALIL
Notes
The simulation is done in Proteus 7.10 while firmware is written in KEIL. This is a simple two digit counter program using AT89C51. Two common anode 7 segments are used. The binary to BCD and BCD to 7 segment conversion is done in program via lookup table. These are small 7 segments and microcontroller pins are used in sink mode that is why they are directly attached with microcontroller. Otherwise buffers will be used. The numbers after 9 are two digit numbers therefore numbers are separated first and then send to 7 segments via lookup table. If you use common cathode 7 segment then lookup table will be changed.
