MCP1612 Step Down DC - DC Converter

This circuit is designed in Proteus 7.10. This is a very useful step down converter for powering up microcontrollers. 1. The IC used for buck converter is MCP1612. 2. This is adjustable 0 to 5V adjustable step down dc - dc converter. 3. The maximum output current is 1A. 4. The PCB is also designed, just download the files and use. 5. The switches are built within the IC, only output filter inductor and capacitor is required. Applications: 1. This circuit can be used to check zener diodes up to 4.7V. 2. This circuit can be used to power up microcontrollers of 1.2V, 2.5V or 3.3V. 3. This circuit can be used as variable DC power supply from 0 to 5VDC.
