This circuit is designed and simulated in Proteus 7.10. In this circuit you will learn how a current is converted into voltage. 1. In this circuit simple opamp and a resistor is used to convert current into voltage. 2. When current flows through resistor R3 or R2, the voltage is droped across resistor and voltage is calculated using ohm's law. V = IR. 3. The resistor R4 and R1 are optional. 4. The resolution or gain can be increased by increasing feedback resistor R3 (or R2). 5. Both positive and negative voltages are applied to opamp to convert both positive and negative voltage. Applications: 1. This circuit is used to measure very low current. 2. This circuit is used to measure very precise current. 3. This circuit is used to convert current signal into voltage signal.
