This circuit is designed and simulated in proteus 7.10. Its very important and common use circuit. In this circuit we will learn how voltage signal is converted into current signal. 1. Op-Amp LM358 is used to convert voltage into current. 2. The supply voltage of LM358 is +12VDC and input voltage signal is from 0 - 5VDC. 3. The convertion ration is depend on R1 resistor. 4. Io = Vin/R1 = 5V/250R = 20mA 5. The resistosr R2 and R3 does not effect gain. 6. The resistor R2 is used to complete the current path. 7. The input resistor R3 is used as a safety, it can b skipped. Applications. 1. This circuit can be used as current transducer for sompe type of physical signal. 2. This circuit can be used as transconductance amplifier.
