Notes
This circuit is designed and simulated in Proteus 8.17. UC3525 is a Puls Width Modulator, normally used for Push-Pull application. 1. This is a complete circuit for UC3525/SG3525 non-isolated push-pull application circuit. 2. Before understanding this circuit, it is recommended to watch the previous circuit UC3525 Push-Pull Driver Test Circuit. 3. It is recommended to make a test jig for IC testing aas shown in previous circuit. 4. The functionality of UC3525 is also described in previous circuit. 5. This circuit is tuned at 12.2Vdc output, while input is 15Vdc. 6. A potentiometer of 20k is placed to adjust the output voltage. 7. Similarly a potentiometer of 25k can also be placed at pin 6 if you want to change the switching frequency. 8. A transformer can be used to step-up or step-down the voltage, or it can be used to isolate the input and output voltage. 9. A small toroidal ferrite core can be used to make the transformer. 10. At switching frequency near to 40kHz you can use 1V/Turn for transformer winding, which means for 15V the turns are 15 and for 12V turns are 12V. 15. Download and run these files for more understanding. Note. More circuits of UC3525 will be coming soon. Stay with us.
