Notes

This circuit is designed and simulated in proteus 7.10. This is a very simple circuit to detect short circuit (dead) mobile. 1. Just one npn transistor needed with heat sink. 2. This is a series regulator circuit. 3. Input is 5VDC and output is 3.7VDC. 4. The output voltages can be vary by varying potentiometer RV1. 5. LED D1 is indication of short circuit. 6. The output of this circuit is used to detect the fault of a mobile without multimeter. 7. When the mobile phone is normal the output voltage will be 3.7VDC and LED remains OFF. 8. When mobile phone circuit is short then output goes low and LED will glow because LED needs 0V to complete its current path. 9. In this animation a switch is used to detect short circuit, when switch is closed it shows short circuit. Application. 1. This circuit can be used to make series regulator. 2. This circuit is used as short circuit detector for mobile phone or any other embedded circuit. Note: More amazing circuits are coming soon. Therefore, keep visiting this app.
